How much money does a chippewa indian receive from their tribe? Also do they get more if they are in college?
It all depends on which Chippewa/Ojibwe tribe their enrolled in. My gram is enrolled in the Rocky Boy Chippewa-Cree tribe. She gets zero dollars and zero cents for being enrolled with that tribe. I have a friend who is enrolled with the Bad River Chippewa Tribe and he also gets zero dollars and zero cents from his tribe. When we were in college I believe he did get some funding from his tribe but the funds went directly to the school to cover his expenses and I don't think he got anything for his pocket.
However, there might be a Chippewa/Ojibwe tribe that does give per capita payments to enrolled members. Which one (if any) it is, I don't know.
